Story 1

Littleworth foodbank collection –
A group of local mummies saw what was happening in Battenhall after keyworker clapping after 8pm, volunteers would collect donations left by people at the end of their drive or doorstep. Then the next day deliver to Worcester foodbank (the foodbank since lockdown have seen an 84% increase in people needing help).
So as a group of local mummies (Bea, Cindy, Ruth and myself) we printed a letter, delivered to certain streets over three weeks, then collected on the Thursday nights. Other local mummies helped with the collecting (Lizzie and Jennie).
Over the three weeks our little village donated 101 bags!
A big thank you to the Littleworth residents.

Story 2

St James close celebrated VE day in style, we had a picnic in our front gardens, our homes or cars were decorated.
A local mummy (Cindy) came up with the idea of getting the children and adults to do a catwalk down the road, each had a time slot to ensure social distancing. Littleworth locals came out to clap and other roads joined in with the catwalk. The children had loads of fun!
Prizes were given, yummy chocolate.
