I am acting on behalf of Bellway Strategic Land (part of Bellway Homes Limited) in relation to land south of Worcestershire Parkway Station, which forms part of southern neighbourhood of Wychavon Town, also known as Abbotswood Ridge.
I am writing to inform you of the forthcoming public consultation for Bellway’s proposed residential development of up to 250 homes set around the key railway hub of Worcestershire Parkway. This will be the first built development on the site, and Bellway are proud to lead on what is expected to be the gateway community of this pioneering new town. In line with the aspirations of Wychavon Town, the development will deliver a mix of homes as part of a vibrant and balanced community, where residents will be connected via highly accessible and sustainable travel links to a range of local services and facilities, as well as recreational and employment opportunities
Bellway are keen to engage with the Parish Council and local residents in relation to the proposed development and there will be the opportunity to view details of the proposed development via the public consultation website www.landsouthofWorcesershireParkway.co.uk or by emailing landsouthofWorcestershireParkwayStation@pegasusgroup.co.uk. Access to the consultation website will also be made available via the Council’s news feed on the official Wychavon Town website https://wychavontown.co.uk.
Leaflets have been distributed to residents and local businesses within the surrounding area informing them of the consultation and the opportunity to provide feedback until the 12th June 2026. We wanted however to make you aware of the consultation ahead of residents receiving details in tomorrow’s post. Whilst the consultation period begins formally tomorrow, the website can be accessed for preview here www.landsouthofWorcesershireParkway.co.uk. I have also attached an example leaflet which has been distributed to local residents.
