The South Worcestershire Development Plan Review (SWDPR) public consultation ends on December 13th. If you have not yet submitted your comments and objections, please do so by going to www.swdevelopmentplan.org/swdp-review/swdpr-regulation-19-publication-consultation . The more individual submissions received, the more likely the Planning Inspector is to take notice. That means you.
We estimate some 50% of the current parish will end up being built over for the proposed Parkway Garden Town. Mostly this is greenfield agricultural land which raises all the issues of food security, protecting biodiversity and loss of rural space quite apart from us all living by a giant building site for the next 40 years.
Please do not delay, make your submission NOW, otherwise, the next step is likely to be the arrival of the bulldozers. This is the last chance to raise objections and comments.
Here is a link to the Parish Council’s SWDPR Page on our website which includes our draft submission (please note that your individual submissions are just as important).
